Day 31: Paradise

We ventured into the interior of Wilsons prom to explore the Lily Pilly walk with glimpses of the mountain ranges and river through the canopy of trees and foliage. We discovered the importance of fire in regenerating the environment. Snorkelling and boogy boarding on Squeaky beach before a dash back to the caravan as the skies opened and the rain fell leaving us counting our blessings to have a solid roof over our heads and our feet off the wet ground. We watched as others dug trenches to encourage water to pass by their tents and marvelled as the stormed passed as quickly as it came leaving the park still and quiet once again. 

Will be sad to leave this piece of paradise. My top recommendation for places to visit in Australia.
