I have been keeping track of all of our expenses and these are my summaries so far in the budget. Each week I record all of our expense for food, accommodation, petrol, entertainment and other. At the end of the month I total it up and average it out. I also keep a record of our fuel consumption and fuel price.

Jai has studied his budget and has concluded the following: mum was back in Adelaide at the start of march and also we stayed with aunty Helen for a night and she bought us dinner. We also went to visit her for 2 nights in Newcastle so we spent less on food overall that month.
